Part 1 of the “NORMALIZE THIS” worship series:

Normality is the term for when an individual adapts to the most common and expected behavior in society.  What is our theological relationship to normalcy?  For our collective liberation and a just world, we must normalize some behaviors that are now seen as radical or rare.  Unitarian Universalism has never been concerned with what is normal, but how might we take what is viewed as marginal and bring it into the realm of the “normal.”  Does the concept of normal serve our Spiritual imagination?
