Welcoming our new DLRE!

Please welcome Fenwick Broyard III to the UUCA staff team!  He started work this week as our brand-new Director of Lifespan Religious Education.  Fenwick

comes to us from Athens, GA where he was a part of the UU Fellowship of Athens.  Previously, he served as Executive Director of Community Connections of

Northeast Georgia, where he successfully coordinated community-wide initiatives, and led the establishment of regional partnerships in the Northeast Georgia social services sector. A lifelong learner and teacher, he recently graduated from Vanderbilt Divinity School, where he was the Racial Justice and Public Theology Fellow, and winner of the Frederick Buechner preaching award.  Fenwick is excited to bring his love of learning, his passion for Unitarian Universalist theology, and his super cool 9-year-old daughter Addis to enrich our congregation. The DLRE Search Team will light our chalice this Sunday in worship and introduce Fenwick to the congregation.  Please come this Sunday Sept. 8 to meet our fabulous new Director of Lifespan Religious Education!
