UUCA has one of the most eclectic and excellent music programs in Atlanta. On any given Sunday you can hear music ranging from Gregorian Chant to Musical Theatre. From Gospel to traditional. From Bach to Bob Marley. In every case the music is performed either by our talented in-house musicians or by friends of UUCA from near and far.

Tree House Choir

The Tree House Choir is the flagship of the music program. Around 10% of all UUCA members come together every Wednesday evening to rehearse challenging, meaningful music and strive to create something beautiful and soul stirring. The Choir rehearses from 7:30-9:00 every Wednesday and typically sings two Sundays a month and for special events and services. There is no audition, all are welcome to participate. PACT (Performing Arts Coordinating Team)

UUCA has a rich tradition of involvement in the arts, from its exciting music program to its art gallery to its historic Underground Theatre. Now, under the oversight of the Performing Arts Coordinating Team (PACT), UUCA sponsors a lively series of performing arts events. A monthly coffeehouse features guest musicians from a wide variety of musical genres. A monthly Wine, Cheese & Spoken Word series spotlights poets and authors reading from their work and includes an open mic session for local spoken word artists. Occasional evenings of improv provide additional performance opportunities. Contact: Todd Wingfield, PACT Co-Chair, at

Audio Visual Team

The Audio Visual Team is a volunteer group that works behind the scenes at all of our Sunday services. They show up early to set up microphones and run sound, lights, slide shows, videos, etc. during the service. Contact: Jeep Hook at

Other Musicians

There are many opportunities to make music at UUCA. Our members are often called upon to perform on Sunday mornings, during Wonderful Wednesday dinners, at our Coffee House open mics, and other special events. We’re always looking to create beautiful experiences and musical community. Contact: Donald Milton at or 404-634-5134 x224
