We are a fellowship of African Americans, working within UUCA, to help us achieve our highest aspirations to be a beacon of anti-racism, anti-oppression, and multiculturalism for our faith, city, nation, and world. We plan various social, educational, and performance events.

lifestage and identity social groups
We are an eclectic group of folks born between 1965 and 1985, give or take a couple of years. Our monthly parties are hosted in the homes of our members on the third Saturday of the month. Join us to get to know more folks at UUCA.
We are a social group for all born between 1950 and 1970 (or thereabouts). Regular events include a monthly Fourth Friday Party at members’ homes and second Sunday group lunches, with other activities and outings as suggested by members.
We’re a group of UU’s in their 60s or older. Activities include share-the-cost of dinner and drinks in members’ homes or eating out and/or attending theater together. Check out our events on the UUCA Calendar.
Buddhist Meditation Group
The Buddhist Meditation Group normally gathers each Sunday morning to practice. Beginners are welcome and invited to come 15 minutes early for introduction and instruction. Join us Sunday mornings before the first service.
JESUS SEMINAR STUDY GROUP
This monthly discussion and book group concentrates on topics related to the historical Jesus, including the social, political, and theological context of early Christianity.
