Adult RE is launching a 5 part series titled: “So You Want to Talk About Race” Join us Tuesday November 10th for the first session, The History and Construct of Race in the US.  This will showcase a lecture from Dr. Andrea Barra beginning at 7:30pm, followed by a Q&A discussion from 8:30pm to 9:00pm. Dr. Barra received her MA and PhD in Sociology from Rutgers University. She has taught courses at multiple universities in race relations, minority groups, demography, religion, developing nations, and social science research methods. She is currently Associate Director of Assessment at Emory University and has a decade of professional experience in assessment and institutional effectiveness work in higher education. All classes in this series will be repeated on Sundays at 5 PM.  Register Here to receive the zoom link for both Tuesday and Sunday classes for the whole series.
