Event Details

Adult RE classes will resume on Tuesday evening, October 20th from 7:30-8:30, when UUCA member Chris Martin will present Learning and Applying Social Science Research on Racism and Anti-Racism. When studying racism, sociologists emphasize societies and their structure; psychologists emphasize mental processes. In this session, you will be introduced to the value of each approach. You will also learn about psychological research on how to talk about social issues in a way that causes other people to care about those issues. These techniques can be applied when you have conversations about racial injustice. To participate and receive the zoom link, please RSVP to uuca.org/register
