Adult RE has launched a 5 part series titled: “So You Want to Talk About Race”
Join us for the second session next Tuesday November 17th, Introduction to Race and Racism Terminology.  This class will be led by Heather Davis, and will begin at 7:30pm followed by a Q&A discussion from 8:30pm to 9:00pm. Heather Davis is the Director of Alumni Services for Urban Alliance in Chicago where she supports youth and young adults with workforce development skills. She obtained her master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from Georgia State University has over a decade experience working with youth, families, and communities of color. Prior to moving to Chicago, Heather worked with high school students in South Carolina, managed a community drop in center for young people experiencing homelessness in Atlanta, developed vocational programming for youth, and facilitated parenting classes for families. Since moving to the Midwest, Heather has worked within Chicago Public Schools and in her role as Director of Alumni Services, she supports young people from the south and west side of Chicago as they navigate life after high school.
