On Tuesday 6/23 from 7:30-8:30 PM join us for the first in a 3 part series where you will have the opportunity to learn about the history of immigration in this country, the changes in the last three years and the possibility of local action to help immigrants or change policy.  This series is being coordinated by UUCA's Immigrant Action Committee. The first class is an Introduction to US Immigration Law and will be taught by UUCA congregant Anna Apostolou.  Anna has over 35 years of experience in managing business immigration programs. Prior to her retirement, she was employed by the Coca-Cola Company as Global Immigration Director. Anna also served as a member of the Board of Directors of New American Pathways, a refugee resettlement nonprofit. The format of the classes in this series will be a combination of lecture and video with an opportunity for Q&A at the end of the class.
