Shanah Tovah and peaceful observances of the Jewish High Holy Days!
In this period of reflection and renewal, we invite you to join in several offerings.
  • UUCA will have a joint Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur service on Sunday, Sept. 12, at 11:00 am.
  • Morristown Unitarian Fellowship (Morristown, NJ) is hosting virtual evening services for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur on Zoom led by Rev. Alison Miller and other leaders in their community:
    • Erev Rosh Hashanah on Monday, Sep. 6th at 7:00PM on Zoom. People familiar with the Jewish High Holidays and those with no experience are welcome. The service will include a virtual Tashlich ritual and be followed by blessings over the wine, challah, and honey.
    • Erev Yom Kippur on Wednesday, Sep. 15th at 7:00PM on Zoom. Yom Kippur is a day of fasting, prayer, and reflection. We unite with our Jewish neighbors inside and outside of our congregation to claim the human ability to acknowledge wrongdoing, to make amends, and to change course. All are welcome.
  • Unitarian Universalists on Jewish Awareness (UUJA) will conduct a Shabbat service via ZOOM on Friday, September 10, 2021, between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur Link. REGISTER HERE
