Our Children and Youth Music Director, Chelsea Green, has organized some fun music actives that we can do together over zoom! Each week we will explore music from different parts of the world. We will also continue to learn playing the Kalimba, an instrument from Southeast Africa. The Kalimba is really fun and relaxing to play (and is also pleasant to listen to regardless of skill level). It is also easy to learn! Many of us have been challenged by the additional demands placed on us as parents, while trying to maintain our own distinct work - and personal lives. You are invited to join UUCA's parenting support group—dedicated to sharing, listening, and cheering one another on during this pandemic. UUCA’s Children and Youth Religious Education is multifaceted and values connection. Children and youth have the opportunity to participate in developmentally-appropriate programming that includes the exploration of multiple faith traditions, spiritual practices, and our Unitarian Universalist principles and values. Not only do they develop friendships with each other, but they also benefit from dedicated adult leaders and mentors.
