Construction continues right on schedule. In two weeks, all exterior wall insulation should be arriving and installation will begin. The elevator is scheduled to be delivered in March, as planned. Layout for our HVAC equipment pads has arrived, and concrete pours will begin in the next two weeks. The underground conduit has been laid for the new transformer. This is a slow process but going better than expected!
What’s New in the Sanctuary?
While waiting on ceiling details, they started with spray foam of sanctuary, continuing throughout the week. They’re starting to reframe the entryway and prepare for the storefront system. The storefront installation representative is coming next week to measure the hole for the stained round window. Mechanical room foundational work continues.
What’s New in the Education Wing? They’re finishing some demo work, and then plan to spray foam the education building after finishing the sanctuary. Masonry will get started on the second floor later next week. The first floor is busy! We are waiting on approval from the shoring engineer before cutting the existing column out where the elevator shaft is installed. The HVAC group is installing spiral duct and kitchen exhaust work.
