A Typical Sunday Service
Wondering What to Expect?
During the school year, Sunday services are held at 9:00 & 11:20 am and 10:45 am during the summer. The content of both services is the same and you can read about upcoming sermons here. Come a few minutes early to sit and enjoy our Sanctuary. You’ll surely find our “worship in the round” Sanctuary a unique space to gather and flowing with positive energy. Sit where you like, get settled and say “Hi” to your neighbor. Dress ranges from shorts to coat and tie; khakis and jeans are common. The services are just over an hour and are followed by fellowship in the Social Hall. There you’ll find coffee, tea, baked goods, conversation, our Connectors team, our bookstore, our Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) pick up, and tables with information on just some of our many UUCA groups and programs.
You can also view a PDF of a sample Order of Service, the program that is handed out every Sunday morning. Get a feel for how a typical service flows, when we sing, greet one another, listen to the sermon, meditate, and more!
