Living Our Mission: Exploring Buddhism and UUCA
We are a community that embraces lifelong learning and respects different spiritual journeys. On Sept. 14, Rev. David hosted a conversation with around 25 people on the connection between Unitarian Universalism and Buddhism. People explored together such questions as, “How has Buddhism touched your life?” and “What are some important things about Buddhism that not enough people might be aware of?”
Last Sunday five people joined our vibrant faith community for spiritual seekers, and this Sunday’s Exploring UUCA class, the first step on the path to membership, has reached its enrollment limit of 20 persons. In fact, there are so many people interested in learning more about connecting with our community that we’re scheduling an additional fall Exploring UUCA session for October 24.
