Our Whole Lives
Our Whole Lives is a series of lifespan sexuality education curricula. UUCA offers classes for elementary ages (grades K-1 and grades 4th-5th), Junior High (grades 7-8) and Senior High (grades 9-12). OWL helps participants make informed and responsible decisions about their sexual health and behavior. It equips participants with accurate, age-appropriate information in six subject areas: human development, relationships, personal skills, sexual behavior, sexual health, and society and culture. Grounded in a holistic view of sexuality, “Our Whole Lives” provides not only facts about anatomy and human development, but helps participants to clarify their values, build interpersonal skills, and understand the spiritual, emotional, and social aspects of sexuality.
You can register for UUCA’s 2014-2015 Our Whole Lives classes here. OWL for 10th-12th grade students will be offered this fall and for 4th-6th grade students will be offered in the spring.
The 2015 4th-6th OWL class is currently full. We are working on setting up a second section of the class. If you are interested in registering your child please email Michelle Bishop at firstname.lastname@example.org.
