Join us July 29th through Aug 5th for the spiritual and artist creation of a Sand Mandala.  This Tibetan Buddhist tradition will take place in the UUCA Sanctuary which will be open to the public during the Mandala’s creation. Don’t miss the opening ceremony on July 29th, where you will be able to learn more about this ritual and participate in a community sand painting activity. Symbolizing the transitory nature of material life, the Mandala will be ritualistically dismantled on August 5th. Attendees will be able to take sand with them to memorialize the event.

This event is free and open to the public. Children are welcome!
