There are tons of ways to get involved here at UUCA. From lending a hand with specific administrative tasks, to special events and activities, UUCA offers a number of ways to get involved, meet new friends and find a niche in our congregation.

Building and Grounds Committee
Do you have a skill that would be useful to help maintain our building and grounds? Carpenter? Electrician? Plumber? HVAC repair? Sewing? Or maybe you do not have a trade skill, but have a desire to help beautify our surroundings and keep them running smoothly. We can use all types of people to help. We have an ongoing list of chores and occasional workdays. Contact Howard Katzman at or Jean Spencer at

Fun and Fellowship Team Seeking New Members
Having this much fun takes a little work! We are looking for interested members and friends who would like to be a part of UUCA’s Fun and Fellowship Team!Contact Sonya at or Jessica at

Kroger Community Rewards
This is a great way to give back to our community and to bring the joy of reading to the kids. You will find it fun and satisfying. This is our third year of operation. Help us finish it with a bang.

If you are a member of the Kroger Community Rewards Program, or would like to become one, the time for re-enrollment is upon us. Please go to the website: and enter the number “72080” to link UUCA to your Kroger Plus Card.

UUCA receives a percentage of the sales from all participants that sign up with the UUCA number. You can tell your friends, neighbors and family members to enroll with our number. (They don’t even have to live in Atlanta. All that is needed is the Kroger Plus Card.) The more people enrolled with our number, the more money we will receive. Remember, the funds generated from this program are included in the UUCA annual budget.

After you have enrolled or reenrolled, the next time you shop at Kroger, please check the bottom of your Kroger receipt to make sure it states: “At your request, Kroger is donating to Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Atlanta.”
