Children
Our goal is to nurture the developing faith and spirituality of children, not to indoctrinate them with one right way of being in the world. Questions are encouraged!
Religious education (RE) classes are offered during both Sunday worship services (9:30 and 11:15) beginning September 18, 2011. Children and youth begin in the Sanctuary for the first portion of the service and then proceed to class. RE classes end at 10:45 and 12:30 respectively.

Newcomers are always welcome. Registration is required for regular participation.
It “takes a village” to support our children and youth, so we encourage the entire community to volunteer in the program; click here to find out about the many ways you can help. To select a Sunday to help in an RE class, click here or contact RE Assistant Michelle Bishop.
Children are encouraged to sign up to be chalice lighters for Sunday morning services.
Other activities include music and arts programs; weekend programs at The Mountain, a Unitarian Universalist camp and conference center in Highlands, NC; and summer camps at UUCA. Families Together is a group for all kinds of families – those with children and those without; click here to join the email list.
