INTRODUCTORY BOOKS - FOR LOAN OR PURCHASE The New Member Council is pleased to announce that six new books about Unitarian Universalism have been added to the UUCA library for check-out by anyone wanting to learn more about our denomination. Although our library has long carried these popular titles in its regular collection, our policies have made them unavailable for check-out by non-members. The new books, purchased primarily for use by participants in the New UU classes and other newcomers wishing to explore our faith, are now in a special collection where they may be checked-out for two-week periods. In case you would like to purchase your own copy of any of these books (with proceeds going directly to UUCA), please click on each book's graphic: | Original essays on our faith, roots, worship, religious education, and important dates in UU history. Buehrens and Forrest Church, describe the sources and history of Unitarian Universalism, how those traditions are adapted in congregations today, and how they each came to choose Unitarian Universalism as a career and a way of life.
