ABOUT UUCAThe Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Atlanta (UUCA), has grown from Universalist (1879) and Unitarian (1882) churches and since 1966 has been located at 1911 Cliff Valley Way. With about 800 members and contributing friends, UUCA is the largest UU church in the Atlanta area. Our size lets us maintain many programs, both within the congregation and the larger community. ABOUT UNITARIAN UNIVERSALISM
Unitarian Universalists may subscribe to positions on faith derived from a variety of religious traditions: Judaism, Christianity, Buddhism, naturalism, atheism or agnosticism. And UUs may call themselves religious humanists, liberal Christians, or world religionists. All nevertheless share a common bond as faithful Unitarian Universalists committed to the practice of free religion, or the belief that human beings are free to heed an inner summons of conscience and character. Members of UU congregations worship, sing, play, study, teach, and work for social justice together while remaining strong in individual convictions.
